It's either the entrance to Wind Cave or the two of us holding our breath and backing up when we ran into a bison on the trail. The hikes here are teriffic. Wildlife is everywhere - no rattlesnakes yet but hopefully we'll see one soon.
We're in Custer State Park so no phone service and they just heard about the Internet last year. So limited blogging and no photos but hopefully we can put some up in the next day or two.
Plan is to be in Spearfish tomorrow night on the way to Devil's Tower later in the week.

Glad you finally saw something other than tourists. How is it driving in all that open space -- any other cars on the road?
ReplyDeleteLots of cars and motorcycles (yuck) during Labor Day weekend but much better now. The drives are all beautiful.
